Chúa hỏi con cần chi?

Con chẳng biết nói  gì

Con xin thêm tiền bạc?

Tiền bạc kho sầu bi!

Nếu không biết sử dụng

Nếu không biết cho đi! 

Chúa hỏi con cần chi?

Con xin được chức tước

Chức tước để làm gì?

Chức trôi theo dòng nước!

Chúa hỏi con cần chi?

Con muốn xin quyền uy

Đời nói  quyền phù phiếm!

Quyền nhiều tiếng thị phi!

Lậy Chúa, Đấng nhân lành

Con cần một lòng thành!

Niềm tin con kiên vững

Theo Chúa rất trung thành! 

Cho con thêm Niềm Tin

Tử đạo trước lý hình

Một niềm tin bất diệt

Yêu, Mến và Trung trinh!

GIVE ME MORE FAITH 

“What do you want?”, God asks me.

I really don’t know how to answer him.

Maybe I want more money,

but too much money always cause sadness

and misery if you don’t know how to use it!

Maybe I want a high positon in the society.

“How will you do with that position?”

High positions would be collapsed some day!”

“What do you want?”, God asks me one more time.

“Maybe I like the power.”

But some people say that the power is limited! 

My God, actually I just need the loyalty

I want my faith to be stable,

I want to follow you everywhere!

I want more faith

like our martyrs in front of

their brutal executors.

A faith that will be going  along with me forever,

for me to be loyal with you and love you!
